History of Jhansi Fort.
The fort of Jhansi was built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Dev of Orchha (1606–27) on a rocky hill called Bangra.
Panchamahal >
Panchmahal in jhansi fort built in the main part of the fort is a very beautiful building which was five storeyed. The king Gangadhar and the queen Rani Lakshmi bai used to live in this Panchmahal. Panchmahal is the place where the queen used to stay and hold meetings.
